RSM Councilman Tony Beall Guilty Of Campaign Finance Violations
As the dominos continue to fall for Councilman Tony Beall, it becomes obvious why he has been lashing out and spreading outrageous lies and missing so many council meetings. He is not accustomed to his shenanigans being looked into. On December 19, 2019 the FPPC (Fair Political Practices Committee) that monitors campaign financing, found that Tony and his wife Jennifer were both guilty of campaign finance reporting violations. Add to this the recent finding by the FPPC against RSM Councilwoman Carol Gamble and it is pretty clear that RSM has a real corruption problem on the city council. The notice reads as follows:

Anthony Beall, as a City Councilmember for Rancho Santa Margarita, failed to timely report spousal income on his 2018 Annual Statement of Economic Interests, in violation of Government Code Section 87207 (1 count).

Jennifer Beall, as a District Coordinator for Assemblymember Bill Brough, failed to timely report income from campaign consulting on her 2018 Annual Statement of Economic Interests, in violation of Government Code Section 87207 (1 count).

The irony here is that Jennifer Beall has been playing a pearl-clutching innocent in her accusations against Assemblyman Bill Brough, but at the same time she was working for him, she was also breaking the law, and this is just one example we have proof of. We know that Tony Beall has totally lost it and has completely beclowned himself from the city council dais and dragging most of the rest of the council members with him because they either agree or are afraid. He likely has broken some other laws with regard to the recall attempt on him when he had the city use city funds to send his response to everyone on the recall notice, after the deadline by some weeks, lawyers are currently crafting a case for that, which will cost the city even more money. The Bealls have turned into a small-time version of the Clintons in how the work behind the scenes, moving players and money around and abusing their authority.
We’ve covered many of just the recent lies of Tony Beall as well the machinations and lies of Jennifer Beall. Working with their disgraced blogger friend Aaron Parks, they have put out hit piece after hit piece against Republicans, I won’t say fellow Republicans because it is clear that the Bealls are no longer Republicans, they are simply after whatever is best for themselves. Don’t forget that Beall is also currently being investigated by the OC Grand Jury as well, we don’t know how that will turn out or when they will finish, but he sure is under a lot of scrutinies.
The important takeaway from all this is that power corrupts, it seems to corrupt almost anyone that has it long enough and Beall has had it non-stop in our town for 20 years if you include the Planning Commission. He should have stopped 2 election cycles ago, that was still plenty, but he kept having more and more deals come along that he just couldn’t pass up. That green is as addictive as anything, and Tony has been there for a very long time with no one ever taking close notice of what he was doing. The Bealls are not liking the scrutiny they have begun to attract and that is why he isn’t going to run this year, but make no mistake, they have their hand-picked puppets like Laurie Davies that they want to get in power so they can still pull the strings but not be accountable to any public records requests.
